Our GOTS® certified products are held to the highest standards of social and environmental responsibility. At every stage of production – from the cotton gin to the finished product – the manufacturers of our products must meet the criteria set by the International Labour Organisation (ILO), United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), and Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). This includes strict rules on workplace freedoms, child labor, discrimination, health and safety, harassment and violence, the living wage gap, working time, precarious employment, and migrant workers.
