From The Begining...
It all started with a wish balloon. In 2015, on New Year's Day in Budapest, two young Turkish women made a promise to each other to fulfill their childhood dream of living near the Pacific Ocean and starting a business together in LA. They released a wish balloon, sending their hopes and dreams up to the universe. And as if by magic, their wish reached the right ears! Sedef went on to study design at Orange Coast College, and Pelin studied digital marketing at UCLA. During this time, they fell in love with the nature and ocean of California and absorbed its culture. They became passionate about combining the organic cotton and weaving techniques of their Eastern culture with the laid-back, beachy vibes of California. And so, Otantica Home was born – a brand that brings a fresh, authentic perspective to the California beach lifestyle.
